Daddy's Turn!

Matt's first time holding his son in a month!

Asher had another good day today and was quietly alert while Matt held him.
He had an episode earlier in the day due to drug withdrawals, but they are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible as they turn the meds down. He is getting morphine shots to help him cope with pain and elevated heart rate. Please keep him in prayer regarding this....that he would easily transition to a drug free state without getting the shakes, stress, pain, anxiety, elevated heart rate, etc.

Matt is joyfully releasing Holy Spirit into Asher's little body by the laying on of hands.
We believe that Asher is going to make a full recovery without long-lasting or recurring challenges. He will be able to swallow his food in the name of Jesus. He will tolerate breast milk in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood over his vocal chords and say "be made whole"!

Mommy's turn to gaze on her little Love ;)

This was a short little photo journal blog today...hope you enjoyed the pics. We are tired and a picture can speak more than I can anyways!

Blessings!

So beautiful. It really touches my heart.
I wanted to pass along a short note my mother-in-law, Connie, sent in response to me sending her an update on Asher from your blog. She has been praying for him since the 1st day you went to the hospital.
Here it is: "I cried when I saw Asher. He looked like he was smiling looking at his mommy. Praise God and I trust for total healing. You have impacted my heart putting him into my prayer life!"
See how Asher is already ministering to others? Love you & bless you.
